At Catholic Memorial, student life is where the lessons of faith become a way of living. Through campus ministry and a rich tradition of service inspired by the educational mission of Blessed Edmund Rice and the Christian Brothers, CM challenges young men to love God and serve others in all that they do.

Carson McCarthy ’26 discovered this calling firsthand when his faith pushed him past his fear of blood and led him to participate in a National Honor Society blood drive. ‘I realized this is something Jesus Christ would call me to do,’ he shares. ‘CM taught me right away that I can provide more in this world.’ Your partnership helps ensure that Catholic Memorial remains a place of brotherhood and belonging where young men can discover their purpose.

Catholic Memorial’s clubs and activities are vital to shaping a student’s identity. Across a robust range of offerings, including public speaking, art, performing arts, music, service organizations, and leadership development programs, CM gives every young man the space to pursue existing passions and discover new ones.

For Ifeanyi Azums ’26, that meant finding a thriving music program and something even more meaningful. ‘I love CM because I feel like other people there also love me,’ he reflects. ‘It’s all just shared experiences — shared compassion.’ Because of supporters like you, Catholic Memorial can continue to offer every Knight the opportunity to experience genuine friendships, build rapport with faculty and staff outside of the classroom, and express themselves in an inclusive environment.

The Catholic Memorial Knights have established themselves as one of the premier high school athletic programs in Massachusetts. With 45 state championships, six national hockey championships, 62 individual state championships, and 16 All-Americans across 40 teams and 15 sports. 

But the victories that matter most at CM are the ones that don’t show up in the record books—the discipline forged through early morning practices, the resilience built through hard-fought losses, and the unbreakable bonds formed between young men who push each other to be better every single day.
